NowReward schemes for biodiversity in dairy farming

A candidate research plan for the DECISION project (NWO KIC, Wageningen University and Research), with an executed analytical pilot: a simulated farmer choice experiment whose estimator recovers the payment coefficient exactly, a staggered adoption exercise showing where naive fixed effects mislead, and a Monte Carlo of contract risk showing that a result based contract can match an action based contract on expected income yet leave the farmer materially worse off in bad years.
